GREATER CLIMATE AMBITION NEEDED
This year has underscored both the scale of the challenge we face and the inadequacy of the collective response so far.

We are far from a trajectory that would hold warming to below 1.5°C, but instead are on course for an average temperature increase of more than 3°C – an undoubtedly catastrophic prospect.

With our planet facing a growing climate emergency, only a dramatic increase in the ambition of our collective response can avert that crisis.

NEW REPORT: Climate, Nature and our 1.5˚C future

Unsustainable human activities are wrecking the natural world we depend on.

A new report, Climate, Nature and our 1.5°C Future clearly points towards nature being part of the solution to the climate crisis.

It outlines the urgent need for countries to work with cities and businesses towards a ‘just transition’ in the face of increasing pressures from a warming world. But strong leadership and immediate action is required to limit global warming to 1.5°C to halt climate change in its tracks.
